Air Covers on the Flightdeck of HMS Illustrious
Air Covers, frontline supplier of thermal and environmental protection to the Fleet Air Arm airrcaft, were asked by the Royal Navy and Lockheed Martin to supply the customised aircraft covers for the flight deck of HMS Illustrious during the Fly Navy 100 celebrations. 2009 is the 100th anniversary of the Fleet Air Arm. In addition to its operational commitments, the Royal Navy will be travelling to the major ports of the world to celebrate and publicise the vital role of the Fleet Air Arm.
