Air Covers are delighted to have acquired one of the largest automated cutting tables in the UK. The CNC cutting table measures 3.5m x 6.5m (12ft x 24ft) and can cut fabric to accuracies of 1mm.
Director, John Pattinson, is delighted at the prospect of developing the business with CNC. "The opportunities for fabric engineers like Air Covers in the aerospace industry are significant. This machine from Blackman and White has been customised for our CAD work and will make a significant contribution to the volume of work we can process without losing control over our quality.'
John will also take personal control inducting his seamstresses into their new skills.
