London Met Police Commissioner thanks Air Covers

Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Sir Ian Blair, took delivery of 3 EC145 helicopters from McAlpine, UK Eurocopter distributors. Sir Ian particularly thanked the consortium of sub-contractors, including Air Covers, for their involvement in the project.

Air Covers delivered the custom-made covers to the Police Air Unit HQ 2 weeks ahead of schedule. The covers have met all performance requirements:
-less than 1 minute to fit by 1 person and under 30 seconds to remove
-reduce cabin temperature by 20% under bright sunlight
-no movement in 60kn winds
